Warning Signs You Need Help NOW
Postpartum Psychosis (medical emergency)
- Hearing voices, seeing things others don't
- Believing things that aren't true
- Feeling disconnected from reality
- Thoughts of harming yourself or baby
Preeclampsia (medical emergency)
- Severe headache that won't go away
- Vision changes (spots, blurriness)
- Pain in upper right abdomen
- Sudden swelling in face/hands
Postpartum Hemorrhage (medical emergency)
- Soaking through a pad in under an hour
- Passing clots larger than a golf ball
- Dizziness, racing heart, weakness
β If you have ANY of these, call 911 / 999 / 000 immediately.
